Electric Mile is an incredible experience, exploring the 7 Insomniac’s magical worlds.
Electric Mile Drive-Thru was organized on January 1st 2021 by Insomniac, an immersive drive-thru in Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. The attendees went through 7 different inspiring worlds full of energy and lights.
On their official website, they explained: “Explore the Insomniac Worlds on your voyage through Insomniac’s Electric Mile. Journey through seven unique worlds of Insomniac’s most iconic festivals and brands, including EDC, Beyond Wonderland, – complete with music, lights, art, visual effects, installations, and more in a COVID-friendly environment.”
The event was composed of synchronized lights and visual effects accompanied by electronic dance music. Over 5 million lights were used.
This journey allowed the participants to explore the world of Insomniac from the comfort of their cars. The maximum of passengers per vehicle was 8. Moreover, participants were not allowed to exit their cards under any circumstance of Electric Mile.
This Covid-19 free event was a 1.5-mile trip that took up approximately an hour to complete. Insomniac ensures, it is a safe environment that is why they encourage social distancing and wearing masks: “All attendees will experience Electric Mile socially distanced in the comfort of their own vehicle. Please wear your mask if windows are rolled down or while you are talking to staff.”
