The 70-minute documentary narrates the spirit of Ibiza Island.

The film was directed by Lily Rinae. The main focus of the documentary is the life of the DJ Jon Sa Trinxa, who has played on the island for over 25 years. He came to Ibiza 25 years ago from England, where he was born.

During these years he has been playing on the same beach twice a week, transmitting Ibiza’s core values to the massive audience. Some describe Jon Sa Trixina as the sound of the island. The fact that he resides in Ibiza makes him stand out in front of the rest of the DJs because he reflects the essence “of the Ibiza island’s permanent residents”.

Moreover, the documentary provides an overview of Ibiza’s culture and community principles, away from the craziness of parties and nightclubs. Many DJ´s as Martin Garrix, spend time on the magical island as part of their holidays due to the plenty of options it offers.

The documentary will be shown as part of Doc’n Roll Film Festival’s 7th London edition. It can be preordered in the second week of November.
